Notice of Adopted 2008 Tax Rate
City of Garland adopted a tax rate that will raise more taxes for maintenance and operations than last year's tax rate.  The tax rate will raise taxes for maintenance and operations on a $100,000 home by approximately $0.00.

 
 


 


 


 

Public Invited to Comment
The City of Garland is eligible to receive $2,040,196 in funding from the Department of Housing and Urban Development.  The Neighborhood Stabilization Program is authorized by the recently enacted Housing and Economic Recovery Act of 2008 (HERA) These funds are considered additional 2008 entitlement funds for the Community Development Block Grant.  Public input and comments regarding the proposed use of the Neighborhood Stabilization funds may be made at the City of Garland Neighborhood Services Department.  To mail  comments, the address is 222 Carver, Garland TX  75040.  Comments may also be emailed to Grants Management at mwoodard@ci.garland.tx.us or faxed to 972-205-3329.
