2011 Food Excellence Award Winner Announced
 
The City of Garland Health Department is pleased to announce the winners of the 2011 Food Sanitation Excellence Awards.  These winners scored in the top five percent of their class on unannounced food service inspections during the previous year.  In addition to receiving an award certificate to display for one year, each establishment will have its annual permit fee (from $200 to $400) waived for 2012. Seasonal Flu Information
The Garland Health Department is working in conjunction with the Dallas County Health & Human Services Department and other agencies to provide surveillance, prevention and control measures throughout the flu season.
